A connection is personally found in every one of my subjects. Emotions from all walks that burn my pupils with curiosity, complacency, and the motivation to gasp for another breath.  Photography is the best experience Ive had in my life thus far and though I think Im "past my prime" as far as artistically expressing myself, im still astonished and grateful for the occupied hours, moments of meditation, and many lessons learned.  Thru my lens I often feel as if im telepathically communicating with the universe....tapped into the collective unconscious.  Ive been photographing the tree below for well over a decade and feel deeply connected to its story as if we are conjoined twins.  Close friends from this life and the next will recognize its distinctive shape.  They will smile with shame and reminisce of a period filled with absurd liveliness.  This tree holds secrets that not even I can tell but heres one for you...... 

STARTING LIFE OFF IN THE WRONG DIRECTION IS OK IF YOU LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES........ IT CERTAINLY BUILDS CHARACTER.
